1. Acceptance of Terms
Welcome to PurePose ("we," "us," or "our"). By downloading, accessing, or using the PurePose macOS application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions ("Terms").
Please read them carefully. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the App.
2. Services Provided
PurePose is a desktop application designed to help users become more aware of their posture while using their Mac.
The App may provide features such as camera based posture tracking, posture scores, visual screen alerts, sound alerts, progress charts, and related posture insights.
PurePose is a self guided wellness and productivity tool. It is not a medical device, healthcare service, diagnostic tool, treatment tool, or substitute for professional medical advice.
3. Tracking Methods and Local Processing
PurePose may request access to your device camera in order to detect posture related signals while the App is active.
PurePose may also allow optional posture tracking using compatible AirPods or other supported Apple devices and sensors. This feature may use available motion or orientation related signals from supported devices to help estimate posture related changes.
The core posture tracking experience is designed to run locally on your device. Camera video, posture tracking data, and supported device sensor signals are not intended to be uploaded to our servers as part of the core App functionality.
You are responsible for managing camera, Bluetooth, device, and sensor permissions through your device settings. If required permissions are disabled, some features of the App may not work properly.
4. Privacy and Data
We value your privacy. PurePose is designed to keep posture tracking and related App data local on your device, except where third party services are used for purchases, subscriptions, paywalls, or similar App functionality.

5. Paid Features, Subscriptions, and Billing
Certain features of PurePose may be available through a paid subscription or other paid access option.
Purchases, renewals, cancellations, and refunds may be processed through the Apple App Store or other applicable platform provider. By purchasing a paid plan, you agree to the billing terms, renewal rules, and refund policies of the applicable platform.
You can manage or cancel your subscription through your App Store account settings or the relevant platform settings.
6. Third Party Services
PurePose may use third party services, including services for paywall presentation, subscription management, purchase validation, or app functionality.
These third party services may process limited data necessary to provide their functionality. Your use of those services may also be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.
7. Health and Posture Disclaimer
PurePose is intended to support posture awareness only.
The App does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease, injury, pain, posture condition, or medical issue. Posture scores, alerts, charts, and insights are estimates and should not be interpreted as medical advice.
If you experience pain, discomfort, dizziness, vision strain, or any health concern while using the App, stop using it and consider consulting a qualified professional.
8. User Responsibility
You agree to use PurePose responsibly and only in a safe environment.
You are responsible for your own workstation setup, sitting position, movement habits, breaks, device placement, lighting conditions, and use of the App.
We do not guarantee that the App will detect every posture issue or that alerts will always be accurate, timely, or available.
9. Intellectual Property
All content, design, software, trademarks, logos, graphics, and materials provided through PurePose are owned by us or licensed to us.
You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, or reverse engineer any part of the App unless allowed by applicable law or with our prior written permission.
10. App Availability and Changes
We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of PurePose at any time.
We do not guarantee that the App will always be available, error free, uninterrupted, or compatible with every device, camera, macOS version, or system configuration.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, PurePose and its creators are not responsible for:
- Any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the App.
- Any posture, health, comfort, productivity, or wellness outcomes.
- Any loss of data, profits, revenue, device functionality, or business opportunities.
- Any issues caused by third party services, app stores, operating systems, devices, cameras, or user settings.
Your use of the App is at your own risk.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to PurePose at our discretion if you violate these Terms, misuse the App, attempt to interfere with its functionality, or use it in a way that violates applicable laws.
You may stop using the App at any time.
13. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page.
Your continued use of PurePose after changes are posted means that you accept the updated Terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Armenia, unless applicable local law requires otherwise.
For users located in other jurisdictions, certain local consumer protection laws may also apply.
