At PurePose, we value your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how PurePose ("we," "us," or "our") handles information when you use the PurePose macOS application ("App").
By using PurePose, you agree to the practices described below.
1. Information We Collect
PurePose is designed to work primarily on your device and to avoid collecting unnecessary personal data.
Depending on which features you use, the App may access or process the following types of information:
- Camera access, if you enable camera based posture tracking.
- Motion or orientation related signals from compatible AirPods or supported Apple devices, if you enable optional AirPods based tracking.
- Local posture related data, such as posture scores, session history, alert settings, progress charts, and app preferences.
- Purchase or subscription related information, if you use paid features.
2. Camera, AirPods, and Local Processing
PurePose may request camera access to detect posture related signals while the App is active.
PurePose may also allow optional posture tracking using compatible AirPods or other supported Apple devices and sensors. This feature may use available motion or orientation related signals to help estimate posture related changes.
The core posture tracking experience is designed to run locally on your device. Camera video, posture tracking data, and supported device sensor signals are not intended to be uploaded to our servers as part of the core App functionality.
3. How We Use Information
We use information only as needed to provide and improve the App experience, including to:
- Detect posture related signals.
- Show posture scores, alerts, charts, and insights.
- Save your preferences and app settings locally.
- Manage access to paid features.
- Maintain, improve, and troubleshoot the App.
4. Local Storage
PurePose is designed to store posture tracking data and app preferences locally on your device.
This may include session history, posture scores, alert preferences, tracking settings, and similar App data.
You can manage certain permissions through your device settings. Deleting the App may also remove locally stored App data, depending on your device and system settings.
5. Paid Features and Third Party Services
PurePose may use third party services for paywall presentation, subscription management, purchase validation, and related paid feature functionality.
These services may process limited information needed to provide purchases, subscriptions, entitlement status, or paywall functionality.
Purchases and subscriptions may also be processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not directly collect or store your full payment card details.
6. Data Sharing
We do not sell or rent your personal information.
We may share limited information only in the following situations:
- With service providers that help us operate paid features, subscriptions, paywalls, or app functionality.
- If required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of PurePose, its users, or others.

We use reasonable measures to protect information handled by the App.
However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
